Here at Keenan Recycling, we value the well-being of our employees above anything else.

To make sure everyone’s well-being is our number one concern, we’ve established rules and processes and have made use of cutting-edge technologies.

Consequently, Keenan Recycling has its own set of standards in order to achieve its aim of great efficiency and protection of employees. These guidelines provide a certain level of decorum and offer a professional environment in which work can be accomplished efficiently.

Our Site rules are…

All vehicles must stop at the entrance gate before entering the site

All vehicles must follow the one way system

All visitors must report to the site office

All vehicles must be reverse parked

Relevant PPE must always be worn on site

Site vehicles and hard hats are fitted with Site Zone Proximity warning systems

Contractors will be given a site induction and issued with site rules specific to contractors

Visitors will be accompanied by a staff member with a radio to contact the site office

Visitors should use footbaths, wash basins and sanitiser where appropriate

Pedestrians should follow walkways to maintain separation from vehicles

We place considerable emphasis on employee and customer safety

Some of which include:

5 camera live streaming, including in-cab camera

Roadtech Falcon telematics: precise location tracking

Pedestrian window on passenger door

Audible reverse alarm

Cyclist safety systems

Reversing Radar

Fire extinguisher

In order to protect the well-being of all parties involved,

We provide all of our staff with the proper training to follow all applicable rules and laws. Among these rules and regulations are:

PPE

Workplace-appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.

Spills and Damages

All spills and damage must be reported immediately and cleaned with tools and kits provided.

Accidents

Any truck damage or accidents of any type must be reported immediately, and details must be collected.

Safety Inspection

Every shift must start and conclude with a walk-around safety inspection of the vehicles.
