Soil
Remediation & Landfill Capping
Keenan’s
Restoration/LandfillCapping Compost is included
in a range of Soil Association certified compost
products that are produced to BSI PAS100 standard.
PAS100 compliances the benchmark for the Scottish
Environment Protection Agency, it demonstrates
that a compost is a fully recycled product.
| What
are the Benefits? |
| • |
PAS100 accreditation
means that our compost is regarded by the Scottish
Environment Protection Agency as a fully recovered
product and not as a waste material. It can therefore
be used after closure of a landfill site. |
| • |
Capacity to be used in-situ to
create a quality topsoil when blended with subsoil
thus reducing the transport of unwanted subsoil off-site
and the importing of natural or manufactured topsoil
onto the site. |
| • |
Encourage quick and extensive establishment
of vegetation. |
| • |
Improved drainage and erosion control
on steep slopes. |
|
|
"I
was very impressed with the process that we recorded
at Keenan Recycling for the Beechgrove Garden.
This is undoubtedly the way of the future in my book."
