Soil Remediation & Landfill Capping

Keenan’s Restoration/LandfillCapping Compost is included in a range of Soil Association certified compost products that are produced to BSI PAS100 standard. PAS100 compliances the benchmark for the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, it demonstrates that a compost is a fully recycled product.

What are the Benefits?
PAS100 accreditation means that our compost is regarded by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency as a fully recovered product and not as a waste material. It can therefore be used after closure of a landfill site.
Capacity to be used in-situ to create a quality topsoil when blended with subsoil thus reducing the transport of unwanted subsoil off-site and the importing of natural or manufactured topsoil onto the site.
Encourage quick and extensive establishment of vegetation.
Improved drainage and erosion control on steep slopes.

"I was very impressed with the process that we recorded at Keenan Recycling for the Beechgrove Garden.

This is undoubtedly the way of the future in my book."
